• The Speech Language Pathologist 2 plans and gives speech language pathology services. This includes evaluation, treatment, and education programs for patients to restore speech, language, and swallowing abilities. The SLP 2 has extra duties or responsibilities.

Evaluates, treats and monitors patient within the speech pathology treatment plan. Modifies therapy program and goals.
Knows reimbursement related to practice setting.
Communicates effectively with patients, families, coworkers, and the medical care team. Clinical fellowship mentors and those in their clinical fellowship period follow the American Speech Language Hearing Association supervision guidelines.
Advances clinical skills through ongoing education, literature review and implementation of evidence-based practice.
Adheres to organizational, national and state regulatory guidelines.
Aligns personal goals and work activities to uphold or impact the system goals.
Performs regularly assigned duties or roles in addition to the patient care role of the Pathologist 1. Duties are necessary to meet clinical, regulatory, or business needs within the location. Additional roles could include staff development, student clinical coordinator, quality improvement program head, team head, specialty program head, or other identified needs.
Exhibits proven synergy and leadership skills with all healthcare team levels. Assures excellent customer service to patients, visitors, physicians, and coworkers.
Possesses proficient computer knowledge; operates multiple computer systems and standard Rehabilitation equipment.

Preferred Experience Candidates must have graduated from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program and hold an active SLP licensure or have licensure pending. A minimum of 3 year of outpatient clinical experience is required, with patient population ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics. Certification/License/Registration:
