Temp/Travel -Registered Nurse (RN) HOME HEALTH (Nights)

Registered Nurse – Long-Term Care (LTC) travel assignment in Lewiston, Maine. Start date 09/14/2026 for a 13-week contract on a 3x12 night shift (7:00 pm–7:30 am). Weekly pay range: $This position is in a hospital setting with LTC-oriented care across dementia, transitional rehab, and long-term care environments. The role requires direct and indirect nursing care in a unit-based, home-like atmosphere.
Weekly pay: $1,906–$2,005 per week

• Contract duration: Shift: Nights, 3x12 (7:00 pm–7:30 am)
• Hospital-based LTC units (dementia care, transitional rehab, long-term care)
• Up to 16 hours unpaid

Provide direct and indirect nursing care to residents in dementia care, short-term rehab, and long-term care settings.

• Administer medications and treatments per care plans; perform IV therapy and wound care as needed; Monitor resident status, document findings, and communicate changes to the care team to support timely care decisions.
• Apply person-centered approaches using verbal and non-verbal communication to support residents with Alzheimer’s/dementia and related behaviors.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to coordinate care, uphold safety, and maintain a therapeutic environment; assist with care planning and discharge planning when applicable.
• Demonstrate flexibility to float to other units as needed and adhere to policy, clinical standards, and patient safety guidelines.

Active RN license in the State of Maine or a compact RN license.

• Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Experience: 1–3 years of RN experience preferred.
• Skills: Medical terminology knowledge; ability to work well within a diverse care team; Ability to work in a hospital-based LTC environment and adapt to unit-specific routines.
