Do you want to work as a Registered Dietician with our CarePartners Program off All Inclusive Care for the Elderly Program where your passion for creating positive patient interactions is valued? If you are dedicated to caring for the well-being of others, this could be your next opportunity. Under the supervision of the Operations Manager, assesses nutritional status of PACE participants. Uses pertinent data to plan and implement appropriate nutrition interventions and communicate the information to the Interdisciplinary Team to ensure the nutritional needs of the participants are met. Provides nutrition counseling, education and therapy to participants; Coordinates Center meal service to ensure kitchen standards are met. Provides education to other health care professionals as appropriate.

Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college with major studies in food and nutrition or dietetics.
MS degree with emphasis in nutrition
Licensed Dietician/ Nutritionist in State of North Carolina

• Registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).

Minimum of two (2) years clinical nutrition and supervisory experience.
Skills and knowledge necessary to assure assessment, treatment or care is appropriate to the age and nutritional needs of the Adult and Geriatric patients served.

• Clinical experience in medical nutritional therapy, especially for common chronic diseases seen in the geriatric population (e.g. diabetes, heart disease).
• Able to instruct others in the correct use of standard kitchen equipment and utensils and food handling safety.
• Basic computer literacy.

Bachelors Degree
Licensed Dietitian, or Nutritionist must be obtained within 2 years of employment start date
