Quality Control SupervisorLinde Advanced Material Technologies Inc.Ellisville, MS, United States | req28128 12-hour (days), 05:00am – 05:30pm- Shift AWhat you will enjoy doing:Maintain a safe work environment and report all safety issues by following policies, procedures, and guidelinesFrontline leadership for the Metlab and Inspection processesCoordinate work schedule of all team membersCommunicate and work well in a diverse environmentSupport pre-audit, audit, and post audit tasksManage daily part flow in both areas, WIP moves and works to improve effectiveness of the processesManage Met Lab and Inspectors' workflow focusing on daily customer commitsManage inventory of supplies to ensure no interruption of processesResponsible for performance and conducts performance reviews for the team membersAssists the Plant Quality Manager with overtime, attendance and daily changes in staffingEnsure proper training (safety, quality, process, etc.) is completed and documented with recordsCoordinates calibration needs for devices within work scopeEnsures proper operation of measurement equipment by following operating instructionsCommunicates with Engineering, Operations and Plant Leadership about rejections, failure modes and special cases on NCR'd partsAssists Engineering, Quality and Operations in the investigation of non-conformitiesThis position must maintain a clean and organized (5S and lean practices) work environment by following guidelines and procedures and complying with all applicable requirementsEnsures proper documentation including details on all product certificationsOther duties as assignedWhat makes you great:Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferredMinimum of 3-5 years of aviation/manufacturing experience preferredMinimum of 2 years of management experience preferredKnowledge of ISO9001 & AS9100 Quality management systemsAbility to discern colors with Vision Acuity of 20/20 (Correction allowed)Proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong written and verbal communication skills is requiredWorking Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Practices, metrics and reportingMathematical and analytical ability is necessary for success in this positionKnowledge and use of common inspection measuring devices, such as surface plates, micrometers, height gauges, radius gauges, bore gauges, and dial indictorsPhysically able to lift up to 40 lbs., Linde Advanced Material Technologies, formerly Praxair Surface Technologies, is a company that revolutionizes industries through innovative materials and surface coatings.
