Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule/Shift
This position is a 40-hour role consisting of four 10-hour shifts, including days, evenings, and occasional weekends; no holidays or night shifts required.
Job Description
Join our dynamic team in the fast-paced environment of Diagnostic Imaging, where you will provide care for patients undergoing various imaging procedures, including CT scans, MRIs, Nuclear Medicine scans, X-rays, and ultrasounds. We value good communication skills and critical thinking, making your contributions vital to ensuring exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities
Provide nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic imaging procedures.
Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures.
Collaborate with imaging technologists and other healthcare professionals.
Monitor patient vital signs and interpret telemetry data as needed.
Maintain clear and effective communication with patients and their families.
Required Experience
Minimum of 2 years of Diagnostic Imaging experience.
Telemetry experience is required.
Certifications/Licensure
Current RN license in New York.
BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
ACLS certification from the American Heart Association.
