Experience with low-risk and high-risk labor and delivery patients
This position requires working every other weekend. On-call shifts may be required during low census. The facility is a short-term acute care setting with 14 labor and delivery room beds and 1 operating room. The daily census includes 1-2 active labors and 5-8 postpartum patients. Candidates will be expected to provide care for neonates and adults. We admit patients with gestational hypertension, pre-eclampsia, twins, diabetes, and low-risk cases. Candidates will float within the hospital as needed. Travelers should be prepared to work holidays as needed. Completion of all required training modules is expected prior to commencement of work.
