We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Litigation Attorney to join our legal team. As a Litigation Attorney, you will be responsible for representing clients in civil litigation cases. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced attorney to showcase their expertise and make a significant impact in the field of law.
Responsibilities Litigate civil cases from inception to resolution
Conduct legal research using Westlaw, Lexis-Nexis, and other resources
Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
Negotiate settlements and participate in alternative dispute resolution methods
Prepare for and represent clients in court hearings, trials, and other proceedings
Collaborate with colleagues to develop case strategies and provide legal advice
Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation
Qualifications Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
Admitted to practice law in the state where the position is located
Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures and laws
Proficient in legal research using Westlaw, Lexis-Nexis, and other platforms
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously
