The Traffic Control Unarmed Private Security Guard supports safe, efficient vehicle and pedestrian movement at Pier 91. The role provides direction at intersections, crosswalks, and terminal access points while supporting basic security awareness duties consistent with FSP (Facility Security Plan), including monitoring entry, reporting unsafe behavior, and aligning with MTSA and facility access protocols. This is an outdoor, guest-facing role requiring attentiveness, clear communication, and safety-driven judgment.

Direct vehicles at intersections, entry/exit points, and parking areas to maintain orderly flow during cruise operations and peak traffic times.

Customer Service & Communication

Provide friendly, professional assistance to guests, drivers, vendors, and contractors.

Use clear hand signals, verbal instructions, and radio communication to maintain safe operations.

Respond calmly to minor on-site incidents such as traffic collisions, injuries, or hazards.

For operations roles: It may involve regular exposure to outdoor environments and active work sites. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.

For operations roles: Work may be performed in both indoor and outdoor environments, including active job sites with varying weather conditions and potential exposure to noise, dust, and other occupational hazards. Safety protocols and personal protective equipment (PPE) are provided and required as appropriate.
