The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:Preparation of air permit application packagesAir permitting strategy developmentAir regulatory review and compliancePreparation of air emission inventoriesPrepare proposals and cost estimatesWork closely with clients to develop strategies that will aid the client in maintaining compliance and operational flexibility while meeting client’s expectations related to scope, budget, schedule and qualityMust have strong communication and technical writing skills, and strong math and computer skillsAbility to work well in teams.Bachelor’s degree in environmental, civil or chemical engineering or similar field +4 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and / or education4 years of air quality permitting and regulatory compliance experienceValid Driver’s License and as a condition of employment must be able to pass AECOM’s Motor Vehicle Records review.Due to the nature of work, US citizenship required.Preferred Qualifications:Business development experience including proposal developmentExperience interpreting and implementing State and Federal air quality regulations6+ years of air quality permitting and regulatory compliance experienceAdditional InformationSponsorship is not available for this position.Relocation is not available for this position.To support this commitment, all newly hired employees are required to attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location as a condition of employment.Depending on your employment status, AECOM benefits may include medical, dental, vision, life, AD&D, disability benefits, paid time off, leaves of absences, voluntary benefits, perks, flexible work options, well-being resources, employee assistance program, business travel insurance, service recognition awards, retirement savings plan, and employee stock purchase plan.
