Other Personal Services Position
Other Personal Services (OPS) positions are used to describe positions that are part-time and temporary in nature. OPS jobs will normally be created for the accomplishment of short-term peak workload, or periodic/intermittent tasks or projects for the college. These positions will vary, based on the need of the institution and include office, clerical, administrative, and/or manual labor positions. An OPS temporary employee can work up to 1040 hours (in a 12-month period) unless the employee meets the criteria for extension referenced in Rule 60L-33.005, Florida Administrative Code, and normally are not longer than a six-month employment period.
OPS Worker positions earn an hourly rate of $15.00 per hour.
Solid technological skills and ability to use computers comfortably.
Required Education: HS Diploma or equivalent required Part-time employees are allowed to work a maximum of 25 hours per week.
