• The Registered Respiratory Therapist will work with a team in a culture of learning and advancement, using scientific values, therapies, and techniques to improve patient care and outcomes.

Performs and directs respiratory care services like oxygen and aerosol therapy. Works with the attending physician and care team. Administers care with quality and excellence, following procedures. Administers cardiopulmonary resuscitation in emergencies.

Adheres to established policies, including infection control, isolation, HIPAA, time and attendance, and social media.

Focuses on continuous quality improvement in all aspects of clinical care. General knowledge of Respiratory Care modalities, therapies, equipment, and medications.

General computer skills, including but not limited to: data entry, information security, electronic medical documentation, hand-held scanning, and email.

EDUCATION - Associate's or 2 years of work experience above the minimum qualification

Certification/License/Registration

Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP): Licensed by the State of Texas Medical Board as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP).

Reg Respiratory Therapist (RRT): Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) from the National Board Respiratory Care.
