PRN Hospitalist Physician

PRN Inpatient Hospitalist NP or PA
UVA Community Health is seeking to employ a PRN Inpatient Hospitalist NP or PA to join our rapidly growing provider team at Prince William Medical Center. We believe in caring for the whole person – by getting to know them, having conversations and making personal connections. Our campus is home to our 70-bed, community hospital, Family Birth Center and 24/7 emergency department.

Responsibilities include:

Visiting bedside and answering questions
Ordering tests, medications and treatments
Communicating with patients, their families and their primary care physician on condition and care
Consulting with additional specialists, as needed
Providing discharge instructions about further care, medication and follow-up
Sending a hospital care summary to your primary care physician
