Overnight Security Officers -full and part time

North Idaho College is seeking a dedicated campus Security Officer to help maintain a safe and welcoming environment for students, staff, faculty, and visitors. A working knowledge of Idaho laws, criminal codes, and NIC policies is key, along with the ability to apply that knowledge with professionalism and good judgment.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable writing clear incident reports, managing multiple priorities, and working collaboratively with college staff and local law enforcement. You should be tech-savvy and able to use communications systems, incident tracking tools, and parking enforcement equipment with ease.

This role includes patrolling college property, responding to incidents, enforcing campus policies, and providing assistance to the public. It requires flexibility to work rotating shifts if needed, including weekends and holidays.

Security Officer.High School diploma or GED is required. Two years of full-time, or four years of part-time experience in law enforcement, military service or security required. Must be able to successfully pass a background and fingerprint check and have no felony convictions.

Taser CEW training and certification required within six months of employment. Training and certification in first aid, CPR/AED, fire and emergency response procedures, or the ability to attain certification within six months of employment is required.

19.05 - $21.91 *plus an additional $2 per hour graveyard shift rate
