M&A Professional, Independent Contractor

T2S Solutions is seeking an Acquisition Specialist to support federal acquisition and procurement activities for our government customers. The successful candidate will assist acquisition teams throughout the procurement lifecycle, supporting acquisition planning, solicitation development, proposal evaluations, contract awards, and post-award administration while ensuring compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and agency-specific policies.

Support the federal acquisition lifecycle from acquisition planning through contract award and post-award administration.

Assist in developing acquisition packages, Statements of Work (SOWs), Performance Work Statements (PWSs), Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs), and other procurement documentation.

Conduct market research and assist with acquisition strategy development.

Support development of Requests for Information (RFIs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Quotes (RFQs), and other solicitation documents.

Participate in source selection activities by assisting with proposal evaluations, compliance reviews, and documentation.

Review contractor proposals for completeness, responsiveness, and compliance with solicitation requirements.

Perform price and cost analysis to support acquisition decisions.

Coordinate with Contracting Officers, Program Managers, technical personnel, and legal staff throughout the acquisition process.

Assist with contract modifications, option exercises, and procurement documentation.

Maintain acquisition files in accordance with FAR, DFARS, and agency procedures.

Track acquisition milestones and provide status updates to stakeholders.

Support procurement audits and documentation reviews.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Acquisition, Supply Chain, Public Administration, Finance, or related field.
• 2 - 5 years of experience supporting federal acquisitions, procurement, or government contracting.
• Working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
• Familiarity with pre-award and post-award acquisition processes.
• Experience preparing or reviewing acquisition documentation.
• Strong writing, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple acquisition actions simultaneously.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting DoD acquisition organizations.

Knowledge of DFARS and agency supplements.

Experience supporting source selections.

Experience conducting proposal compliance reviews.

Familiarity with SAM.gov, FPDS, PIEE/WAWF, or other federal procurement systems.

DAWIA, FAC-C, or DAU coursework is preferred.

Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one.
