Licensed Practical Nurse - Full-Time Weekend Shift

Lantern Government Solutions is seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for a full-time opportunity in Hopkinsville, KY at the Western State Hospital . Apply your nursing skills and knowledge to impact a vulnerable population and make a difference.

Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, LPNs will provide direct patient care, medication administration, and support daily activities in a dynamic behavioral health environment. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of residents and their families.

Deliver direct patient care and administer medications as directed by a Registered Nurse.

Assist residents with activities of daily living and participate in therapeutic activities.

Supervise Resident Aides and Ward Clerks as needed.

Maintain compliance with all nursing practices and procedures in accordance with KRS Chapter 314.

Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, residents, families, and visitors.

Available shifts include:

6:45p-7:15a (12-hour shifts) 3 times per week with every other weekend.

Graduate of a Kentucky State-approved nursing program (new graduates welcome).

Current, unrestricted LPN license in Kentucky or Compact State.

Current CPR certification from an in-person course (online certifications are not accepted).

Experience or strong interest in psychiatric or behavioral health nursing is a plus.

Market competitive pay $28 - $30 / hour depending on experience plus shift differential for weekend shifts
