Machine Minder (2nd Shift)

Hiring Machine Operator - Pay starting at $19/hour In Elgin, IL

Operate die casting and molding machines to produce precision metal components.

Monitor machine operations to ensure equipment is running safely and efficiently.

Perform visual inspections of castings and molded products to identify defects such as excessive flash, surface imperfections, and other quality concerns.

Gather first-off pieces after machine setup and deliver them to the Quality team for inspection.

Maintain production quality standards by following established work instructions and procedures.

Handle, move, and transport raw materials and finished products throughout the production area.

Follow all company safety regulations and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Previous machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment.

Ability to perform visual quality inspections and identify product defects.

Ability to lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs.

Mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform basic maintenance tasks.

High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Experience operating injection molding machines.

Three to six months of related manufacturing experience.

Experience working in a fast-paced production environment.
