Travel Registered Nurse - Medical Surgery / Telemetry

ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Sedalia, Missouri.

RN - Med Surg

Patient ratios of 1:4-5 with 6 patients during days, nights, and weekends

• Every other weekend required
• Float to other units possibly required
• Care for 24-bed daily census in 29-room unit with 29 total beds
• Minimum 2 years medical surgical experience required
• Current Missouri or Compact nursing license required at time of submission
• Required skills include accessing/managing ports, blood product administration, central line blood draws, heparin and insulin administration, IV management, and telemetry monitoring
• Care for adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients
• Patient diagnoses include diabetes, COPD, general and orthopedic surgeries, pneumonia, asthma, and general medical/surgical conditions
• Unit includes 14 telemetry beds for patients with history of A-fib and syncope episodes (no cardiac drips administered on unit)
• Must be away from facility for 1 year if returning as travel staff
