Position: Travel RN MedSurg
Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM
Unit Information
Join our dynamic medical unit, which consists of 43 beds and a dedicated staff of approximately 70 professionals. Our team is committed to providing excellent patient care in an acute care environment.
General Information
Location: Denton, TX
Floor: 5th Floor
Type of Staff:
Day Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 1 Unit Secretary, 9-10 RNs, 4 CNAs
Night Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 9-10 RNs, 4 CNAs

Patient Ratios:
Day Shift: 1:5-6
Night Shift: 1:6

~ Type of Equipment: EMR - Meditech

Qualifications
Required Skills: Previous med/surg nursing experience in an acute care setting.
Preferred Skills: Experience with Meditech will be prioritized.
Typical Procedures Performed
Our unit handles a variety of surgical procedures, excluding cardiac and open neurosurgery.

Floating Opportunities

Self-scheduling is allowed within reason to ensure a balanced schedule. Rotating weekends are required.
