Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department (Part-Time, Nights)

Schedule: 24 hours per week

Evenings/Nights: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM
Every 3rd weekend
Rotating weekends and holidays
Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department team. In this role, you will provide direct patient care in a fast-paced ER environment while contributing to continuous improvements in patient experience and quality of care.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, direct patient care in the Emergency Department
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Participate in initiatives focused on enhancing patient experience and quality improvement
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with policies and standards
Qualifications

Current Nebraska Registered Nurse (RN) license or new graduate eligible to sit for the NCLEX
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (if applicable to your organization)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required
Preferred/Required Training

Willingness to obtain Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification within the first year of employment
Willingness to obtain Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification within the second year.
