Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery

Seeking an experienced healthcare professional for the Women & Infant Float Pool. Required to float between Labor & Delivery, Client Special Care, and Postpartum. Experience with antenatal care and antihypertensives is necessary. Candidates should be familiar with baby-friendly protocols and bladder assessment. Knowledge of cesarean sections, couplet care, and discharge teaching to parents is essential. Must be proficient in fundus, lochia, and perineum care. Experience with magnesium sulfate therapy and maintaining central lines is needed. Familiarity with postpartum hemorrhage and managing pregnancy-induced hypertension is important. Must keep up with intravenous treatments and use external fetal heart monitoring equipment. Adherence to infection control and isolation precautions is required. Attention to detail in patient care and documentation is essential. Flexibility in scheduling and willingness to meet urgent requirements is necessary. This position is ideal for a dedicated professional looking to contribute to maternal and infant health.
