You will work onsite on first shift (core hours 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM) with stakeholders across manufacturing, inspection, and assembly to meet production schedules and tolerance requirements. Your work supports the team by ensuring parts meet specifications and equipment runs reliably.Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the TeamStudy blueprints, sketches, drawings, and specifications to determine dimensions, tolerances, and setup requirementsSet up and operate conventional and CNC lathes, turret lathes, engine lathes, mills, and other shop equipment to fabricate partsSelect, mount, align, and secure fixtures, cutting tools, and materials for machining operationsCalculate and set machine controls (speed, feed, coolant, depth/angle of cut) and edit/load NC programs as requiredPerform trial runs, inspect finished workpieces, and verify conformance to specifications using calipers, micrometers, and height gaugesDetect and correct machine malfunctions or out-of-tolerance conditions and perform routine machine maintenance and cleaningCreate tooling and holding fixtures as needed and install machined replacement parts into assembliesFollow ESD controls and apply bonding, soldering, epoxy mixing, and assembly/packaging techniques when requiredHere's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This RoleHigh school diploma or GEDSix (6) or more years' experience operating and setting up conventional and CNC lathes, mills, and other machine shop equipmentTraining in CNC machining, inspection techniques, and shop safetyAbility to read and interpret blueprints, manuals, and procedure documentationProficiency with inspection instruments (calipers, micrometers, height gauges) and ability to inspect your own workAbility to perform basic math, geometry, and trigonometry relevant to machiningAuthorization to work as a US citizen for this locationHere's What Else Might Help You OutExperience with Fadal and Haas machines4-axis machining experienceExperience handling precision machine parts, specialized metal finishes, and classified assembliesPay Range$24.00 - $30.00/hourReady to Make Your Mark?This role may fill quickly.
