As a Health & Wellness Assistant, you'll help create exceptional daily experiences for residents by providing compassionate care, supporting independence, and delivering personalized service through The Sterling Touch®. Whether assisting with activities of daily living, supporting wellness initiatives, helping with medication administration (where licensed), working in Luminations® (memory care), or simply being a trusted companion, you'll make a meaningful difference every day.
Assist residents with activities of daily living including dressing, eating, grooming, personal hygiene, mobility, communication, and toileting
Support residents in accordance with their personalized care plans while promoting dignity, independence, and well-being
Observe residents and communicate changes or concerns to the nursing team
Provide medication assistance and administration in accordance with state regulations and community policies when appropriately licensed and assigned
Build meaningful relationships with residents and families while creating a warm, engaging atmosphere
Participate in community activities, wellness programs, dining experiences, and special events
Work collaboratively with Health & Wellness, Culinary, Lifestyle, and Hospitality teams to deliver an exceptional resident experience
We're looking for individuals who are passionate about service, hospitality, and senior care. High School Diploma or GED, required
One or more years of experience providing assistance with activities of daily living, highly, preferred
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and/or Certified Medication Aide (CMA) credentials, preferred or required as applicable by state and assignment
Ability to read, write, and understand English in order to communicate effectively with residents, guests, supervisors, and team members
Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, crouch, bend, stoop, reach, grasp, push, pull, and remain active throughout the shift
