This is a full-time position that will include installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical distribution systems and associated electrical equipment while ensuring that all projects comply with national and local electrical codes.
The Master Electrician’s duties will include coordinating with project managers, interpreting blueprints and wiring diagrams, manufacturer's installation manuals, implementing plans, and troubleshooting electrical issues. Types of properties include previous dormitories, single family homes, commercial kitchen, offices, classrooms, sports fields, as well as for mechanicals, fixtures, and equipment. Must be on-site during normal working hours Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, with possible presence during emergencies.
Minimum of five (5) years’ experience as a Master Electrician working on High Voltage supporting facility services.
Work well with government personnel to coordinate facility support issues
Preferred, but not required, to have previously worked on a federal government owned commercial property.
