Key Responsibilities
Assume responsibility and accountability for a designated group of patients throughout an assigned shift
Prescribe and deliver nursing care based on the nursing process, consistent with the medical plan of care and patient/family input
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary health care team members to coordinate patient care delivery across all age groups
Incorporate patient teaching and discharge planning into the overall plan of care
Delegate appropriate aspects of patient care to other nursing staff based on clinical competence and legal scope of practice
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Provider Card (Fundamentals or Standard course depending on experience)
ONC/ONCC-CHIM certification
EPIC experience within the last 12 months and recent Cerner experience required; charting systems must be documented in work history
Preferred Experience / Skills
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
Acute care facility experience
OCN Certification and/or PICC Certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor
