Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) team. In this critical role, you will provide specialized, high-quality care for patients recovering from complex cardiac procedures, including open-heart surgery, TAVR, LVAD implantation, and cardiac catheterizations. Your expertise will ensure optimal patient outcomes through diligent monitoring, assessment, and timely interventions. Key Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive post-operative care to cardiac patients, managing complex hemodynamic parameters.
Monitor vital signs and cardiac function using advanced tools such as arterial lines, Swan-Ganz catheters, and continuous telemetry.
Administer and titrate vasoactive medications to stabilize patient hemodynamics.
Recognize and respond swiftly to life-threatening arrhythmias, low cardiac output states, and bleeding complications.
Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams—including surgeons, perfusionists, and ancillary staff—to ensure seamless care transitions from the operating room to ICU and from ICU to step-down units.
Document patient care accurately and ensure thorough handoff communication during shift changes.
Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
Minimum of 2 years of ICU or cardiovascular critical care nursing experience preferred.
Valid and compact Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification is a plus.
Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking skills, and attention to detail.
Shift & Schedule:

~ Night shift: 3 x 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
