Conduct routine and sophisticated clinical lab testsincluding chemistry, hematology, and immunologyfollowing established protocols and best practices.
Ensure the accuracy of results, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and conduct routine maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
Support specimen collection efforts and prepare samples for testing as required.
Document all outcomes meticulously, assist in training new staff and students, and contribute to the maintenance of high lab quality standards.
Preserve a clean and safe working environment while adhering to all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.
Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health qualification, with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within one year of employment.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, essential for collaboration with healthcare colleagues.
