JOB DESCRIPTION

Housekeeper - Environmental Services Bethesda Create a Clean, Safe, and Comfortable Home for Residents Join a mission-driven team where your work directly supports the health, safety, and comfort of residents. As a Housekeeper, you help maintain a clean, sanitary, and welcoming environment throughout the facility. Position Summary: Performs routine and detailed cleaning and sanitation of resident rooms and common areas while following infection control and safety standards. Ensures a consistently clean, organized, and home-like environment for residents, staff, and visitors. Schedule:

~6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

~ Every other weekend and every other holiday

Key Responsibilities:
Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, and equipment
Dust, mop, vacuum, and disinfect assigned areas
Maintain cleanliness of hallways, dining areas, lounges, and offices
Restock supplies and maintain housekeeping carts and supply areas
Dispose of trash and follow infection control procedures
Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly
Ensure all areas meet established cleanliness and safety standards
Qualifications:
Housekeeping experience preferred, not required
Ability to follow directions and work independently
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
Dependable, team-oriented, and service-focused attitude
Physical Requirements:
Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting
Ability to lift 20-40 lbs occasionally
Continuous physical activity throughout shift
