As a Teacher Assistant, you will direct the daily activities of adolescent males within the program using positive behavioral management principles, maintaining safety, and exercising independent judgment during crisis situations.

Assist the Lead Teacher in implementing daily activities that foster cognitive, speech/language, fine/gross motor, self-help, and social-emotional development.

Support the tracking and documentation of children’s progress aligned with Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) goals.

Classroom Maintenance: Help setup classroom materials; and organize toys, equipment, and learning materials after sessions.

Build a nurturing, inclusive atmosphere for children and families while encouraging positive behavior management.

Follow all program policies and safety protocols.

High School Diploma or GED (Required).

Minimum of one (1) year of experience caring for or working with young children.

Basic knowledge of early childhood development and developmental milestones.

Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to collaborate effectively under the guidance of the Lead Teacher and Director of Children's Services.
