RN Surgery- Day Shift

CVOR Registered Nurse (RN)We are seeking an experienced CVOR Registered Nurse to join our team for a day shift position. This role requires expertise in open heart and vascular procedures, providing high-quality care to patients throughout their surgical experience.ResponsibilitiesProvide direct patient care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR).Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Monitor and assess patient conditions before, during, and after surgical procedures.Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the surgical environment.Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding care plans and post-operative instructions.QualificationsCurrent Registered Nurse (RN) license.Experience in CVOR with a focus on open heart and vascular procedures.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Readiness to float to other units as required due to patient census needs.Work ScheduleThis position is a part of a 4x10-hour shift schedule from 06:45 to 17:15.Additional InformationThis position is open to local candidates as well as first-time travelers. The on-call requirements and specifics regarding floating will be discussed during the phone interview.
