Service Writer for customer service

As a Service Writer, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Service department by coordinating work flow, supporting customers, and representing the company’s brand. Coordinate the flow of work through the Service department, including customer, warranty, and internal work orders

Serve as a primary point of contact for customers by answering phone calls and emails, and providing timely updates on service work

Write and process work orders for service and warranty repairs based on information from Service Technicians

Assist the Service Manager with scheduling, prioritizing, and assigning work activities based on personnel skills and workload

Drive Service department sales by delivering superior customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction

Gather and communicate product information to accurately determine and address customer needs

Handle payment collection and ensure accurate documentation of all service transactions

Perform various clerical and administrative tasks to support the Service department

Qualifications

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong work ethic and ability to work independently

Fundamental computer skills

Willingness to learn; training will be provided for the right candidate
