Job Title: Director, Revenue Operations
Classification: Full Time, Exempt

NBS has standard office hours of Monday through Friday 8 a.m. – NBS is currently seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of Revenue Operations to lead and optimize our company-wide revenue strategy and operations. This position will develop and oversee the systems, processes, analytics, and cross-functional practices necessary to create a scalable, data-driven revenue engine and support sustainable growth.
As the leader of the Revenue function, the Director is accountable for aligning business development, marketing, proposal management, client experience, and practice leadership around shared revenue objectives. This role will analyze market and performance data, identify growth opportunities, challenge and validate assumptions, improve pipeline and conversion effectiveness, and translate business insights into actionable strategies that strengthen revenue performance and client growth.

Revenue Operations & Growth Leadership
Partner with executive leadership to establish annual revenue goals and business development priorities. Business Development Operations
Design, implement, and continuously improve scalable business development systems and processes. Establish consistent methodologies for opportunity qualification, pursuit planning, client engagement, and pipeline management. Oversee the identification, prioritization, and tracking of Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Qualifications (RFQs), and other business opportunities. Develop standardized reporting that provides visibility into pipeline health, pursuit activity, win rates, and business development effectiveness.
Revenue Analytics & Performance Reporting
Develop meaningful dashboards, reports, and key performance indicators that measure revenue performance and business development activities. Analyze win/loss trends, proposal success rates, client acquisition, client retention, referral sources, market penetration, and revenue forecasting. Utilize data to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and recommend strategic adjustments. Recommend technology solutions and process improvements that enhance efficiency, workflow, and decision-making. Champion a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and data-driven decision making. Promote accountability through clearly defined goals, performance metrics, and reporting. Marketing & Brand Strategy
Oversee marketing initiatives that strengthen brand awareness and support business development objectives. Collaborate with technical staff to develop compelling marketing collateral, client communications, presentations, and industry content. Provide leadership, coaching, and development for the Revenue team, fostering a collaborative, high-performing, and accountable culture. Establish clear priorities, performance expectations, and professional development plans for direct reports. Build organizational capability by evaluating team structure, roles, and resources to support long-term growth objectives. Direct and promote collaboration across business development, marketing, client experience, proposal management, and contract administration functions. 10+ years of progressive experience in revenue operations, revenue strategy, sales operations, business development, commercial strategy, or related revenue leadership functions, including demonstrated experience building or improving an integrated revenue operation. Strong business acumen with the ability to interpret financial, operational, and market data.
