Service Dispatcher HVAC/REFRIGERATION

We are currently looking for a Service Dispatcher to join our Serviceteam located at our headquarters in Granite City, IL . Our ideal candidate for a Service Dispatcher is someone with 1-3 years of experience in the HVAC industry who possesses strong communication skills, organizational skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Primary responsibilities for icon’s Service Dispatcher include:

Receiving and organizing service calls so that a HVAC technician is dispatched to a variety of locations in a timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction.

Maintaining the daily work schedules for field technicians and matching each available technician to a job based on the technician’s skill level and location.

Effectively communicating customer needs to field technicians, the Service Manager, and other relevant parties to ensure personnel are scheduled appropriately based on skill level, efficiency, and training requirements. Additionally, ensuring that all necessary parts are ordered promptly.

Providing logistical support to technicians and communicating with both fellow employees and customers.

Informing customers of the progress of service operations while ensuring that technicians operate in a cost-effective fashion.

Reviewing field technician service reports

Ordering and tracking parts and equipment to ensure timely availability and proper inventory management.

Primary qualifications for icon’s Service Dispatcher include:

Strong attention to administrative detail.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
