Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Some Weekend Shifts Required | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to high-risk labor and delivery patients, including those with pre-eclampsia, diabetes, and multiple gestations
Manage active labor, induction and augmentation of labor, and VBAC/TOLAC cases
Monitor and care for antepartum patients with complex or high-risk conditions
Respond to and manage maternal emergencies in an acute care setting
Float between units as needed within the facility or nearby sister facilities
Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
Required Qualifications
Valid Washington State RN license or active Compact RN license (required at time of submission)
Minimum of one year of recent Labor and Delivery experience in an acute care setting
Experience with high-risk obstetric conditions including pre-eclampsia, antepartum care, and maternal emergencies
Proficiency with Epic charting system
Ability to work night shifts including some weekend shifts
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience in a Level II Trauma Center or large acute care hospital setting
Familiarity with VBAC/TOLAC protocols and management of multiples
Experience with induction and augmentation of labor in a high-volume environment
