Job Description

ROLE - SPECIALTY

Schedule:

• 12-hour night shifts, 1845-0715
• Every other weekend
• Holiday requirements applicable unless requested in advance

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: Varies per week

Requirements:

• License: RN
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year Telemetry RN experience
• EMR: Experience with Altera Sunrise or similar systems preferred

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a telemetry unit.
• Monitor and assess patients' vital signs and symptoms.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and care plans.

Compliance / Notes:

• Nicotine-free facility
• Bi-weekly pay
• Minimum 2 hours notice required for client shift cancellations
• Orientation includes a two-day session followed by clinical orientation and additional computer work
