Director of Myeloid Malignancies Program

The selected individual will be expected to be highly collaborative and boost the Myeloid Malignancies Program with a variety of research projects with high potential for clinical impact. O. degree (or equivalent degree) with board certification in Hematology or Oncology with or without a PhD; possessing or being eligible for a Utah Medical License; with initiative, curiosity and demonstrated capabilities within an academic environment.

The Division currently has 25 full-time Clinical Faculty members engaged in several subspecialties, who are also engaged in a broad spectrum of clinical, translational and basic research in Hematology. We are in a growth trajectory and look to expand our programs through high quality, innovation and dedication to the needs of our catchment population in the Mountain West. State of the art resources are available on-site spanning from world-class transgenic facilities, genome-wide scanning technologies to drug development platforms, pharmacology and toxicology. The scientific environment in the Division and the wider University is vibrant and extremely collaborative. All clinical facilities are in close physical proximity to laboratories in the Huntsman Cancer Institute.
