Canvassers will support a client-facing grassroots campaign focused on improving quality of life in Fresno through civic engagement, strategic advocacy, and leadership development. This role centers on door-to-door outreach, engaging residents in meaningful conversations that drive civic participation and community impact.
The ideal canvassers are passionate about social change, comfortable with face-to-face community engagement, and motivated by people-powered work. Field Canvassing & Voter Engagement

Drive Community Outreach: Conduct door-to-door canvassing to inform residents about local initiatives and key issues.
Encourage community involvement through direct, one-on-one conversations.
Educate & Empower Residents: Ensure Data Accuracy: Accurately log all canvassing activity in CRM systems (PDI) with strong attention to detail.
Maintain Trust & Confidentiality: Handle all resident information professionally and ethically.
Community Engagement & Relationship Building
Serve as a positive and informed representative in the field.
Strengthen Community Relationships: Build rapport with residents by actively listening and responding to concerns.
Inspire Local Leadership: Motivate community members to take an active role in their communities.
Fluent in English and Spanish and comfortable communicating with diverse communities

• 1-2 years of experience in canvassing, advocacy, or community outreach preferred
• Detail-oriented with strong data-entry accuracy
• Comfortable using digital tools for tracking and communication
• Have reliable transportation and can travel to canvassing sites throughout Fresno

Saturday & Sunday: 9:30 AM - 6:30 PM
Availability for weekend shifts is required
Must be able to work 5 days in-person during scheduled shift hours
Flexibility to work outside standard business hours, including evenings and weekends
30 /hour (part-time)
