Janitorial/Cleaning Positions (Full and Part Time)

~ Help
Cleans, empties trash, dusts, disinfects, and deodorizes rooms, corridors, stairways, toilet facilities and other areas.
Sweeps, mops, vacuums, scrubs, strips and polishes using light and heavy duty powered equipment.
Operates industrial equipment to clean rugs, drapes, etc. - moving furniture when necessary. Performs routine maintenance of equipment.
Washes walls, windows, blinds and ceiling fixtures using ladders, scaffolds and safety belt. Maintains stock of room and cleaning supplies to perform assigned duties.
Help
Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
Incumbent may also be required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally-controlled facilities.
Willing to accept an Intermittent, or Flexible Appointment.
Must be able and willing to work a schedule during the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM, Monday-Friday.
Must have knowledge, skills and ability to perform the duties listed above to include the ability to use and maintain the tools and equipment of the trade, to keep the assigned work area neat and clean, and to communicate both orally and in writing.

FWS employees earn overtime pay for working more than 8 hours in a day or more than 40 hours in a week - whichever gives the employee more benefit. Regular full-time, regular part-time, and regularly scheduled flexible employees may receive Sunday premium pay for working on Sundays. Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
