The mission of the Division Student Affairs is to create solutions for a healthier community by fostering student success. There are multiple functional units within Student Affairs, including the Center for Student Life, the Career Readiness Center, the Center for Academic Performance, the Office of Care and Civility, Testing and Evaluation Services, International Services, the Office of Disability Access, and the Student Assistance Resource Center.

This position is part of the Division of Student Affairs at the University of North Texas Health Science Center (UNT Health) and the Department of Testing and Evaluation Services. This position supports UNT Health students and academic departments with a wide variety of student assessment (examination/testing) activities including administering both in-person and online assessments. This position fosters student success by ensuring student knowledge is effectively measured and academic curricular goals are achieved.

High School diploma and one (1) year of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Exceptional customer service skills.

Willingness to document and report student behavior.

Experience using software and technical resources, particularly in an online environment (i.e. Microsoft Suite).

Ability to work collaboratively with fellow employees, faculty, and staff. Desired applicant will place a high priority on customer service.

Experience in support roles, interacting with clients from multiple levels of an organization, and experience in an academic support environment is preferable.

Support the setup and administration of computer-based examinations and other student assessments for class sizes ranging from 20 to 250 students.

Admit students into a secure testing environment.

Assist with distribution and collection of exam materials.

Collaborate with other proctors to ensure an appropriate assessment environment.

Perform other student testing duties as assigned.

Observe students during examinations and document/report inappropriate behavior.

Assist students as they take a secure exam to ensure they have an appropriate testing environment.

Facilitate a secure, fair, and appropriate testing environment for students.

Monitor online content to facilitate the administration of online or remote assessments.

Ensure students comply with all secure testing protocols.

Review recorded video content to ensure students comply with secure testing protocols.

Document and report any instances of inappropriate behavior in the testing environment.

Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles, and the like.

No adverse environmental conditions expected.

Total hours will vary based on the testing schedule. Approximately 8-19 hours per week, Monday through Friday, depending on the testing schedule.
