Ferguson is now hiring an Operations Manager to lead business operations in our FFF Lake Elsinore location! This role provides leadership for our customer-facing associates and branch functions.Position DetailsReports to Branch Manager6 associates, direct oversight of 6 associates including warehouse and driversResponsibilitiesChampion the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of organizational management protocols, practices, and toolsDrive safety, quality and profitability to meet or exceed company objectivesAct as a strategic partner on the leadership team and liaison among different departments to improve operation resultsEnsure warehouse operation is led with efficiency and successHandle inventory control in our warehouseInteract with vendors to coordinate inventory returnsQualificationsBachelor’s Degree is preferred, equivalent experience will be considered2+ years management / leadership experience coupled with handling inventory / operational tasksAbility to adapt and change processes to keep pace with the evolving business requirementsOutstanding organizational and leadership skills to optimally respond to urgent situationsMust be process oriented with good judgment and decision-making abilitiesStrong interpersonal skills and the ability and desire to lead a teamA confirmed understanding of OSHA and DOT regulationsStrong technical skills included but not limited to Microsoft O365 applicationsAt Ferguson, we care for each other.
