Registered Nurse- Emergency Care Nights

The Operating Room Registered Nurse is responsible for providing specialized perioperative care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. The role involves supporting a variety of elective and emergency cases to ensure efficient and safe surgical operations.
Coordinate and prepare patients for surgery, ensuring all preoperative assessments are completed accurately.
Assist surgeons and surgical teams during procedures, maintaining a sterile environment and managing surgical instruments.
Monitor patient vital signs and overall condition throughout surgical procedures, responding to any changes promptly.
Document all perioperative care activities thoroughly and accurately in patient records.
Utilize after-hours call services to support OR staffing during nights, holidays, and weekends.
Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with clinical standards and policies.
Hold a valid, current, and unrestricted RN license in the State of Alaska.
Possess a minimum of 3 years of operating room nursing experience.
Graduate from an accredited Nursing program (BSN, Associate Degree, or Diploma).
