Northwestern Illinois Association (NIA) is a regional governmental agency dedicated to providing special education support to 68 school districts across Northwestern Illinois. The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) works 180 days per year for 7.5 hours per day and earns $60,080.97- $106,974.21, depending on experience. Grade level, location and academic programimng based on candidate preference and availability.

As a BCBA with NIA, you’ll work across a variety of schools, engaging with diverse student populations to provide positive strategies for managing and improving challenging behaviors.

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Job Duties:

Provide behavior analysis services and interventions: Document all services, data collection, and progress related to behavior interventions, ensuring compliance with district and state regulations.
Provide expertise in behavior analysis, behavior management, and functional behavior assessments (FBA) to ensure appropriate accommodations and support for students.
Stay current with best practices in behavior analysis, special education, and related fields by participating in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
