primarily making delivery and pickups of 20 and 40 shipping containers. Rigging, flatbed or machine hauling experience a must.
This position reports to the Lead Truck Driver. Class A CDL license is required. Full time position available is 1st Shift schedule; Monday through Friday with deliveries generally within all parts of New York or a 150-mile radius of the greater Philadelphia region-getting you home every night. Ideal candidate should have basic knowledge of towing and be able to operate cable winch.
Support the ISO 9001 Quality Management System and the Sea Box Quality Policy calling for self-inspection of your work product.
Secure cargo for transport, using slings, chain, binders.
Deliveries may at times be in residential areas or tight quarters
Some deliveries may require adding caster wheels to containers to reposition container into a warehouse
Check vehicles to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order.
Communicate with customer about care and maintenance of our products upon delivery
Follow appropriate safety procedures for transporting dangerous goods.
Communicate daily with dispatch and lead truck driver.

Hourly Rate Range: $30.00/hr. - $Education : High school diploma or GED
Experience : Minimum 2 years truck driving experience required. Good driving record. Availability to work long hours, weekends and holidays if necessary is a plus.
