Phlebotomy - Phlebotomist II /Phlebotomy Floater IIIPride Health is hiring for a Phlebotomy - Phlebotomist II to support our client's medical facility, which is based in New Smyrna Beach FL 32168. This is a contract job with a possible extension opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization.Shift/Time Zone: Phlebotomy II Mon-Fri 6am-3pm rotating Saturdays 6am-12pm. Phlebotomy floater shift: This is 6am-3pm (one hour lunch, they are scheduled for 9 hours each day) and Saturdays are 6am-12pm (no lunch).Ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision. Excellent phlebotomy skills to include pediatric and geriatric. Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime. Travel and flexible hours required to work multiple locations and required to cover at Patient Service Center/In-Office Phlebotomy locations with minimal notice. Must demonstrate superior customer focus; Training locations may vary based on trainer availability. Required Education: High school diploma or equivalent - REQUIRED. Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred. Phlebotomy certification preferred. Work Experience: Three years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections. Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.
