Counselor I University - Full Time

Sarah Lawrence College, a co-educational liberal arts college located 15 miles from New York City, seeks candidates for the position of Admission Assistant.

Primary responsibilities include maintaining coverage of the general office phone and email, co-managing student employees who conduct tours and interviews, and managing individual campus visit offerings for prospective students and families. The role may also involve coordinating relationships with various offices across campus, student groups, and other campus communities. Contributions to communications, social media streams, or other secondary responsibilities may be available for individuals with relevant backgrounds.

Required Qualifications

At least a bachelor’s degree

A valid driver’s license

Strong dedication to promoting the transformative qualities of a liberal arts education

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in admissions, communications, or student services

Proficiency in social media management
