Cherry Picker Operator- Night Shift
Location: Nashville, TN
Schedule: Monday-Thursday | 5:00 PM - 3:00 AM
Pay: $18.50 per hour
Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and physically strong Cherry Picker Operator to join our night
shift dock team. This position combines elevated equipment operation with heavy manual
loading responsibilities in a fast-paced, high-production warehouse environment.
This is a physically demanding role that requires prior cherry picker experience, strong picking
knowledge, and the ability to perform continuous heavy lifting.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a cherry picker safely and efficiently at elevated heights
- Pick lower-volume or specialty items from rack storage
- Build and organize pallets based on picked products
- Load approximately 1,600-2,400 case units per night
- Manually place cases onto truck floors (no dropping product)
- Lift up to 65 lbs overhead repeatedly throughout the shift
- Work at a fast pace in a high-production dock environment
- Maintain accuracy and productivity standards
- Follow all safety procedures for elevated equipment and manual loading
Required Experience
- Prior cherry picker experience (required)
- Warehouse picking and packing experience
- Ability to work in a high-volume distribution environment
Preferred Experience
- RF scanner experience
- 2+ years of warehouse experience
- Experience in high-production dock operations
Physical Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
- Must be able to lift 65 lbs overhead repeatedly
- Continuous bending, twisting, and lifting throughout the shift
- Ability to perform intense physical labor for a full 10-hour shift
- Comfortable working at heights
