Direct Access Screening Colonoscopy (DASC) Registered Nurse (RN)

Where You Will Work:

RN will work in the South building on the 4th floor within the Pre-surgical Testing area. Scheduling patients for Direct Access Screening Colonoscopies using the DASC work queue to contact patients to screen them and schedule. A lot of administrative tasks coordination with physicians and their schedules.

Were Looking For:

Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices. BSN preferred.
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
Teamwork, having an emphasis on patients receiving high quality care. Communication, hard-working, multi-tasking, engagement. Collaboration.
Endoscopy/GI experience is required.
GI Certification preferred
Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking.
Time management, prioritization and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Proficiency in operating computer functions (e.g., E-mail, electronic records, digital platforms etc.) clinical, aviation, maintenance, communications, and administrative departments.

As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
