Structural Welder
MIG and Stick (Arc) welding . mining equipment, heavy equipment, or other large structural steel projects . This position requires a safety-focused professional who can produce high-quality welds, troubleshoot repairs, and work from blueprints with minimal supervision.
Perform MIG and Stick (Arc) welding on structural steel and heavy equipment.
Repair, rebuild, and fabricate mining equipment and other structural components.
Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings.
Troubleshoot equipment failures and determine proper repair methods.
Inspect welds to ensure they meet quality and structural standards.
Operate grinders, torches, and other fabrication tools.
Work independently and as part of a team to complete projects on schedule.
5+ years of structural welding experience
MIG and Stick (Arc) welding .
Experience welding on
mining equipment, heavy equipment, or large structural steel
Strong troubleshooting and mechanical repair skills.
Experience with fabrication, fitting, and structural repairs.
and perform physically demanding work in a manufacturing or shop environment.
Must have a strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Welding on mining, construction, or industrial equipment.
Knowledge of equipment maintenance and structural repairs.
Experience using oxy-fuel cutting torches, plasma cutters, and air arc gouging is a plus.
