Associate Attorney - Immigration Law

Job Overview A law firm seeks an Associate Immigration Attorney in [City/State]. The role involves representing foreign nationals in various immigration proceedings and preparing related legal documents. The position requires 1-3 years of experience, with Spanish language skills strongly preferred.
Duties Represent foreign nationals in deportation or removal proceedings before the Executive Office for Immigration Review.
Attend adjustment and naturalization interviews before USCIS.
Prepare waiver applications, family-based petitions, and adjustment of status applications.
File appeals and petitions for review, and draft supporting briefs and motions.
Prepare and file custody applications and motions related to Special Immigrant Juvenile status.
Handle asylum, U-Visa, T-Visa, DACA applications, and related petitions.
Conduct legal research and draft memorandums as directed.
Requirements 1-3 years of immigration law experience.
Spanish language skills strongly preferred.
Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications Admission to the state bar.
Skills Strong legal research and writing abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
