Operating Room RN - Women and Children's (Pediatric)
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team specializing in pediatric care. The ideal candidate will have scrub and circulate experience in the operating room and at least two years of experience in a similar role. This position requires extensive travel experience, as well as a commitment to providing top-quality care to pediatric patients from newborns to 17 years of age.
Responsibilities
Assist in surgical procedures for pediatric patients by providing support in both scrub and circulating roles.
Collaborate effectively with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and care quality during procedures.
Maintain a safe and sterile environment within the operating room.
Conduct patient assessments and prepare patients for surgery.
Participate in on-call rotations as required, which may include weeknights and weekends.
Qualifications
Current RN license with a minimum of two years of experience in an operating room setting.
Travel experience is required; local candidates will not be considered.
BLS certification is mandatory.
Experience in pediatrics and women's specialty is preferred, with robotic surgery experience being a plus.
Self-starter with strong communication and teamwork skills.
Schedule
This is a full-time position with a schedule of 4x10-hour shifts, from 06:45 to 17:15. There may also be a requirement for a self-scheduled call of 6-8 shifts per month, which will be discussed during the interview.
