As an RN in the Cardiac Cath Lab, you will work closely with physicians, fellow RNs and other healthcare staff to offer exceptional medical support and attention to all patients within the unit. Our Center for Workplace Violence Prevention and Caregiver Well-Being sets caregiver safety as a priority, identifying, reporting and responding to incidents and providing safety resources.
on-call with weekend availability and rotating holiday requirements.
Provide nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic or therapeutic services to hospitalized patients in a variety of healthcare settings.
Assess patients, complete nursing assessments, document findings in patient records and notify physicians of abnormal findings.
Perform telephone triage and call rotations.
Perform nursing procedures or LIP in the treatment and management of patient care and administer treatments and medications.
Establish care plans in collaboration with patients, families and the health care team.
Coordinate ongoing care, identify discharge needs and facilitate discharge planning.
Evaluate, initiate and maintain standards of care.
Serve as charge nurse when assigned to ensure efficient operations and continuity of care.
Maintain core competency in nursing (CPR, skills labs).
Cover other nursing roles in the department.
Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse
One year of recent experience as an RN OR Licensed RN with at least 2 years of LPN experience within the same Cleveland Clinic procedure
Two years of recent experience as an RN
One year of critical care experience in a hospital setting
Cardiac care experience
